Very strange experience -

So I was wanting to stay on a certain Saturday, they had no availability on Hyatt.com or any 3rd party site. I checked 3 days row, nothing available. Then I checked this afternoon and 3 room types randomly showed as available. I immediately canceled another booking I had my Cat 1-4 booked on and used it here since it was a Peak Date so worth 18k, otherwise the cash rate was ~$350. The booking is made, I can breathe easy.

Then I go maybe 4 hours later to check, and it’s sold out again. I’d understand if it was just 1 room type, that would likely mean someone cancelled but multiple, then only hours later showing sold out that seems a bit strange. I guess I’m hoping not to get walked due to some event or something and it being an error in availability booking.

Anyways, I also wanted to ask has anyone stayed recently on the weekend and received comp breakfast as a Globalist even though the lounge is open? Based on the last DP from April even though the lounge is open on weekends it does not serve Breakfast which is why I’m asking. This is one of the few US properties that generally has a pretty good quality breakfast IMHO.
