The way it works here is
- Tower = good view, but the rooms are small, it's quiet if you go up a few floors. All refurbished since or during the pandemic.
- West Wing = really big rooms but some are not recently refurbished (they were refurbished around 2019 anyway). Limited views, they used to look on to the canal but more recent buildings have blocked them Very quiet despite the Westway - you will see an ambulance all blues-and-twos hurrying down the Westway and not hear it.
- East Wing = medium sized rooms, some with a bit of view down Edgware Road, can be quite noisy near the road junction. All refurbished. No problems with the lifts. Handy for the main services of the hotel.
Personally I wouldn't select from the East Wing, with a few exceptions. In the West Wing, select from far away from the lifts - or at least 3 or 4 rooms away, there are some turbine rooms near the lifts.
