Sooke Harbour House
With great respect, the recommendations to date are hotels - not resorts.

The place to stay is Sooke Harbour House,. The owners (Wiffenspitt) live on site are European and are committed to growing their own food. It isn't cheap but it sure meets all of your expectations - relaxing, caring, and inclusive.
