I rented from Fox at LAX last summer since my preferred agency, National, was quoting a rate about double what Fox charged.
Everything was fine in general, though there was a relatively long wait for the shuttle, the counter agent gave the hard sell on the optional coverages, and the Mercury Sable I rented had over 40,000 miles on the odometer. Some of the cars on the lot looked pretty beat-up with scuffs and scratches on the bumpers and doors, so before you leave, be sure you mark the existing body damage on a signed sheet of paper.
Keep in mind that Fox cars can only be driven in Arizona, California, and Nevada; the firm uses GPS tracking devices to assess a heavy per-mile penalty if you drive outside these states.
But if you're staying inside the three-state region, and don't mind driving a slightly older vehicle, Fox should be okay.
