Thanks for taking the time to respond. This would have to be on two separate tickets, alas. No codeshares involved. I could buy it as one ticket from an OTA, but that just screams even more trouble.

Yeah, that's a concern of mine for sure. I think I found relatively cheap private transportation from SHO to the border and then from the border to MPM, so I might go that route and only fly MPM-INH, knowing that, if they cancel, I could at least suffer through a chapa ride.
