I have, once. Now, I keep my fingers in sight when putting the bed down. It's a bit harder.

Yes, much nicer than the on-board showers. Be aware that the lounge attendant might decline to provide access to the shower during a busy time. That could be when many people are checking into the Lounge or when people are being called for a train departure.

If anything, I would say 50% is optimistic. Also, the cool air from the ceiling vent is not at all cool on too many occasions. Although it is contrary to packing light, it is better to be prepared for temperatures that are too warm or too cool.
