Exactly the opposite experience for me, Capella and Kempinski have been good (along with many other higher end brands like Sukhothai) whilst NH has been mixed (possibly because almost the only place I would normally stay in an NH is Spain where there isn't another option and Spanish hotels seem pretty anti-loyalty programme for whatever reason).
