Las Brisas is by far the best hotel in Acapulco as I believe every room gets a Jeep. Regarding a beach club, from what I recall, no.
The beaches in Mexico are all federally owned, but in smaller resort towns you can sometimes find patches of sand that are accesssible only via private property (or water).
Acapulco does get rowdy during Spring Break as the beaches will be very full, I would reccomend the beaches by the Princess hotel (wider, better & cleaner) rather than the ones in the actual Bay. The hotel will most probably not have any spring breakers and you'll be able to enjoy the quite breathtaking views from your room on the mountain.
I like Acapulco more for the party than the beach.. Yes, it's nice weather and the beaches are nice with lots of restaurants to eat at along with shops, but by night time it does get extremely busy with all the club goers.
If you go and like Tacos, have a bite at "Tacostumbras" a word play meaning "you'll get used the (good) Tacos" as they open at nights only but are great.
I would look up the spring break schedule of Universities (general) and see when they fall. In Canada they are mostly the last two weeks of February, but in the states.. I don't know..
Try calling a student tour operator STA Travel or the equivalent and ask them when their busy period for Spring Break is and take it from there..
let me know if I can help with something...
