This helped clear up one thing for me. When you are given 2 options at a milestone, you can choose the same benefit. Therefore, a 100k member could select all miles and end up at 93,250 miles which is only a few thousand short of today. Of course they will lose GGUs and Lounge Passes but if you're not flying AS or never use them that's not a big deval. The major improvement is for those hitting 250k - we can now 183,250 rdm.

This could maybe be a good thing? The upgrade waitlist system hasn't worked for a long time and has gotten even worse the last few weeks. If they actually overhauled the upgrade professor due to these changes, it would be a huge win. If they just inject additional spaghetti code then we just get bad Italian.
