Looks like a pretty big devaluation for AS flyers. I think 75k members are the biggest losers here. You no longer receive 50k rdm, 4 lounge passes and 4 GGUs. You now only get either 2 lounge pass or 4 GGUs (or mix and match). Combined with the lower RDM earn rates that are kicking in, MVP 75k has been significantly devalued. Also, now that 10k eqm rollover is a choice benefit, it's doubtful they run any more promotions like last year.

For those that just use Mileage Plan to book premium partner awards, the EQM cap from cc spend bumping to 30k/yr and earning eqm off partner redemptions is amazing. Loss of lounge passes and GGUs are insignificant. And the fact that we can keep earning after 100k eqm. I expect significantly less AS flying for me in the future. I am quite pleased with the changes but suspect most on FT won't be.
