I thought brunch was something for weekends and intended for those who have a later leisurely start to the day. If you are up at 5am for a 9am 13hr flight to Japan, you will essentially have around 4 breakfasts over the course of 15hrs. Breakfast 1: lounge or airport coffee outlet, breakfast 2: BA brunch, breakfast 3 served 2hrs before a 7am arrival into Tokyo and possibly breakfast 4: coffee and an egg sando in Tokyo at 8am! What next, all day breakfast items in the Club Kitchen or World Traveller galley? Guaranteed, too, that some crews will see the brunch service as an opportunity to cut corners and do "drinks on request". Will we get a coffee and a biscuit after take off or a G and T and nuts mix before our eggs?
Come on BA, sort out the pre-order service like most full service carriers offer or give us a sample menu for our flights.
