Sorry, I dispute this, many luxury hotels in Asia manage to elevate breakfast nicely. Lobster eggs benedict, crab omelette, proper steak and eggs, etc. It's possible to do something far more 'first class' than poached eggs with smoked salmon if BA really want to.
