Privilege Account locked - thru want me to come in person
My account is locked. I got an email requesting me to come down about “a recent flight” and confirm the transaction , with passport and id.
There was no flight nor is there one coming up with Qatar. I had zero points in the account after transferring them all to BA a few months ago . (Points were Citi TYPs transferrred to Qatar.).
No unusual activity in my BA and IB avios accounts.
Anyone have a phone number I can call other than the general privilege club number (which was no help). I live 2 hours from the nearest office and won’t be flying out of an airport with a Qatar office until Dec 20.
I’d really like to deal with this without taking the better part of a day driving to/from LAX . Any suggestions?
