Exactly.
I love how quick people are to assume that Hyatt must be right in unilaterally closing accounts. As a customer, I don’t work for Hyatt, wouldn’t want to, and can’t be expected to vet every Tom, Dick and Harry they’ve secretly made deals with claiming to be authorized for this, that, or the other. Sounds to me like Hyatt maybe got a little too tricky with affiliates for their own good, ones THEY failed to properly vet or audit. When they finally did, they got mad and took it out on customers who have no recourse besides the courts and public forums … like this one.
Corporations definitely have their own view of things that frequently differs from that of customers.
It doesn’t make them right.
