This is huge for those of us who live on the West Coast as Chase-branded lounge coverage was non-existent and few remaining PP options that were convenient.
The terms specifically mention Sapphire Reserve, not JPM Reserve, not Ritz-Carlton.
While that is true, it would be the first time that JPM did not mirror lounge access offered to CSR cardholders (and similarly lost PP restaurant access at the same time). Reportedly there are only 5k or so JPM Reserve cardholders, so they would not be likely to flood the lounges. I would be shocked if we do not get access.

Might be worth getting the wife an AU for $75/year, but since even she barely travels alone, and all together with us, not worth the $120 it would still be to get in. The Club in SFO T1 is pretty respectable, and we all get access.

Yes the "paid guest" provision is annoying - perhaps Chase is mimicking Amex Plat access rules for the DL lounges. Of course Amex provides access to AU cardholders, who can be as young as 13.
