The distance is marginal - scheduled flights are listed as 6 hours and 20 minutes, though that includes padding to improve on-time performance - but my vote is Costa Rica. Checks all the boxes and, if you don't speak Spanish*, is probably overall the easiest Latin American country to visit with only English (not just talking to people in tourist-facing positions).
