Holy Smoke! - what is this...'First Lite' dining brought to you by Alex Cruz?

Whilst I can just about get my head around the Brunch concept I would be expecting something more substantial/warm for the second service, ideally with the 'traditional' canapes to kick things off. Since when was a chicken salad a 'charcuterie plate'? Let's face it, most passengers will have had a substantial breakfast in the CCR in the expectation of having a proper lunch ~120 minutes after wheels-up. This is going to be quite a disappointment in those cases, especially as I would guess that there won't be enough of the better items to go around. Pancakes in the middle of the day? Seriously? Are they expecting a lot of children?

Quite a bit of 'turd polishing' going on here IMHO.

It's only a matter of time before we start seeing some sort of tariff appearing for Avios recovery when the complaints mount; I would think this won't last long as this is blatant cost cutting, so hopefully will follow Alex into the bin in short order.

I think it would be a good idea to post the list of flights that this applies to (surely not also the early West Coast flights?) as I would certainly seek to avoid this.
I see the job lot of Lindt truffles someone bought during the pandemic are still going strong - also widely available in CW/CS. Are there no decent UK chocolate makers out the that BA could showcase?

Terrible
