I have booked an Ultrabasic fare, and through my Platinum seat selection, I have reserved a seat in Extended Comfort. I see this clause in the T+C:

11. UltraBasic guests are not allowed to bring or pay for a carry-on bag except when travelling to and from Europe and Asia or when Extended Comfort has been purchased for all flights in a single direction, including connections.

I am curious if I will be allowed a carry-on because I am in Extended Comfort, but technically I did not purchase this.

Anyone have some insight or experience?
