After having had some meh business class experience, I started looking at Emirates again. I would appreciate it if someone could educate me on this.
To be honest, I am not sure if 'cash + miles' is available on every itinerary, simply because I have never used it.
I think this is probably the worst value for miles you can get, so beware!
I have used Avio's as part payment on intra European trips and that is an area where I think the BA / Avios programme works quite well.
