You can still stay at a Marriott or Hyatt property, you'd just be banned from participating in the loyalty program.
Just don't see what the issue is.
Will add that these programs are all pretty tight lipped about their fraud investigations, both to protect privacy of those being investigated and to prevent fraudsters from learning how to improve their fraudulent schemes. It's pretty basic stuff.
