If Hyatt seriously can't audit UrCove or otherwise deal with these issues, then they should just splash the brand as a misadventure and move on. Let Marriott have them.
I think Hyatt took the appropriate action for this situation. The guests participated in defrauding Hyatt, and doing something like this devalues the entire portfolio. Simply removing those stays doesn't change the subsequent stays utilizing Glob or LTG benefits, or the countless certificates they probably transferred out. Closing their accounts sends a message, not to try anything like this ever again, I believe it's called a deterrent.
