I thought this would be a good forum to ask a few questions and some doubts,
Some points for reference:-
1) Flying BLR-DEL-LHR-BNA on BA (UK Codeshare on BLR DEL sector).
2) All flights are under single PNR booked on BA website.
3) I Have 5hrs transit at DEL and 4 hours at LHR.
4) On my e-ticket, it says I have 2x23kg for check-in baggage for Vistara (on BLR DEL) and under hang baggage it says "View your vistara allowance"
Now the questions:-
1) At BLR will I get my DEL LHR and LHR BNA boarding ticket or will I get it in DEL?
2) After arriving at DEL, should i collect my baggage and re-checkin at BA counters in DEL?
3) If not, what is the process? Is it like D2I transfers or will they allow me through security/immigration ONLY 3 hours before departure?
4) If I dont get my BA boarding pass at BLR, how and where will I get it at DEL, considering I am a transfer passenger. Are there any counters for it, for transfer pax at DEL transfers at T3?
5) Is 4 hours enough for T5 transfers at LHR? BA to BA connection flight on LHR BNA sector.
I am also worried that once UK and AI integrate, will the BA UK codeshare be cancelled or will it impact my flight, as my flight is in Winter 2024 season.
Any kind of tips or updates if you all can share (i read the entire thread) on DEL T3 and LHR T5 will be really helpful.
Thank you!
Small update on this,
My BLR DEL has been switched to an Air India flight from Vistara.
The rest of my journey remains on BA (DEL LHR BNA).
All flights are Single PNR from Org to Dest and I have a 5hr transfer at DEL booked via BA website.
Now my question remains even after AI a/c swap,
Will I need to collect my baggage at DEL T3 and recheck-in at T3 or go to Intl Transfers directly?
