We really like an Italian place in Renton called Sansonina. Not much to look at on the outside (it's an old pizza hut building), but I find the food to be delightful. Good wine list as well. It's a small Italian family run place with great service. We had only eaten there one time and came back a couple of months later and our waiter recognized us and remembered the bottle of wine we had (and that I needed gluten free noodles---some of the best I've had, they make fresh in house). In total we've probably been there 4-5 times, but when down in the area try to make an effort to go there. We also have eaten a few times at Ocha Thai. Pretty solid with good reviews. My brother-in-law has said good things about the steaks at Melrose Grill, but I haven't been, so can't vouch for that. Hope one of those might work for you.
