Beach is idyllic at sunrise. Yes the boardwalk is a bit crowded day and evening but we found it far more interesting than the proximity to IC Jimbaran. Some great restos and lots of localish character.
The grounds are pleasant,. The swimming pool is private and above the beach.
The beach bar resto whilst on the boardwalk feels calm and exclusive - offering great people watching.
Club lounge and journey to airport apart, I personally find this IC preferable to Jimbaran.
You may be a minority
. We find it an okay place, our last stay was in a Pool Villa which definitely needed a renovation and has a bit noisy surroundings, but overall service, offerings, grounds and such aren't on par with IC Jimbaran in our view. When the prices where a bit more moderate, it was fine, but they are pricing well above the HR and in line or higher than IC Jimbaran so not so attractive.
We also stay a lot in Sanur (location suits some of what we need to do in Bali better), but then usually at HR down the road. Certainly IC Bali Sanur isn't terrible in any way, just doesn't stand out much either we find. YMMV
