I think you might be misunderstanding what I'm asking. What I suggested was that the property is actually doing something favorable for the guest (offering a $35 "universal credit" as a welcome gift). I'm not sure if that's what the OP was saying, or if he is saying that the "daily 35 USD food and beverage credit" can be applied against the $35 destination fee (it canceling itself out)
