Ugh. This takes away the only real benefit, and replaces it with 'options' for benefits I already have. If I wasn't tied to AA (only airline to my outstation), this would be a signal to switch airline programs to Delta or United knowing that I can use Hyatt choices as backup options on AA. This isn't a benefit program for elites in both programs, it's now a benefit for non-AA elites to pick up a backup airline status on AA via their hyatt program.

Precisely. I'd almost rather they partnered with Delta instead for the same reason. Would have been nice at least if they added a small LP/TQN amount as one of the Milestone/LP reward options.
