I can't say I ever once heard anything from the lounge terrace, and my suite was directly above it (by 2 floors). I suppose if one were to leave their windows open, perhaps, but preferring air conditioning, I don't do that. When I did open the windows on arrival, I could hear was street noise and airplane noise, but I didn't hear the lounge. With the windows closed, the only thing I ever heard the entire time, was when a large ship blasted its horn when entering the inner harbour. Pre-renovation, I understand the guest rooms didn't have air conditioning, so leaving windows open would be common, which would have been an entirely different experience.
