. Yes, almost 4 times the full price of the original return ticket, for changing the departure time by a little more than one hour. Needless to say, I said no and I spent the time solving crossword puzzles and Sudoku.
If they allowed same-day changes for a nominal fee, then it's quite likely that other passengers who had made it to the airport before you would have snapped up the available seats at the too-good-to-resist low asking price....
