We ended up taking a taxi for 25 Euro. At the check-in desk, I was able to purchase the 7 Euro ticket for the shuttle in the morning. The shuttle is actually for the neighboring Parkvogel airport parking lot, with a stop at the NH on the opposite side of the traffic circle. At least in the morning, the bus runs every 15 minutes. It has a Moxy and an NH decal in addition to the Parkvogel signage, for easy identification. The driver never actually asked for the ticket, so now I have two 7 Euro souvenirs..
I chatted with the hotel, there's a shuttle bus, they sent this link - goldbeck-parking-reservierungen.de

That website says that they run a service every 30 minutes this route for 3€:

Northgate parking garage → Moxy Hotel → Long-distance bus terminal (BER) → Moxy Hotel → Northgate parking garage

but I'm not sure what/where exactly Is the bus terminal. I'll probably test them on the way back to the airport.

Google says public buses 263 & 741 run this stretch as well.

UPD.
263 / 741 public buses run once an hour each, so about every 30 minutes or so you have either. "Kurzstrecke" ticket is 2,40€ Bus stops are in front of the hotel (arriving) and across the street (leaving)

Shuttle bus runs from Parking area B, on the hour and at half past. Same schedule back to the hotel, the shuttle stops in front of the hotel entrance. You are supposed to buy a ticket beforehand on the link I provided above, but the driver couldn't have been less interested in seeing it, when I asked if he wants to see it. Costs 3€

Taxi (Bolt) would have been 9,80€, but there was some promo that dropped it to 8,80€. I took it from the airport as I missed both the shuttle and the 263

The hotel is still on the Schönefeld side (not actual Berlin) with nothing around but a couple of office buildings and two other hotels. Very adequate for an overnight with a morning departure. 87€ with breakfast, no complaints.
IMO if you saw one Moxy, you've seen them all (though this one is a bit less over the top than some other I stayed at)
