How to update your qualifying credit card for Executive status?

I've had Executive through AMEx Platinum for the last several years, but I canceled the card recently. But I have another card (Hilton Surpass) that also qualifies me for Executive status.

I cannot find anywhere on the National website that lets me update my status-qualifying credit card info.
And when I go through the AMEx page, it prompts me to enroll in Emerald Club anew. But why should I have to do that when I've had the same account with them for years and currently have 2 free days.

What's the best way to keep my current account and free days without an interruption in my Executive status? Is there a place I'm supposed to go to on the National website that I haven't found?
