At that point I'd suggest considering the Chase Sapphire Reserve card. The rentals should post as travel stuff, and you can either use the points to pay down the card (lousy use of them normally), pay for travel, or transfer directly to a handful of platforms 1.62m CSR points should get your family to Australia in J on Singapore pretty easily ;-)
