Yes and no. Technically the prefix changes but in my experience it doesn't really matter. Whether you enter EBB or EBD makes no difference, neither in terms of points earnings, nor in terms of benefits you get.

I think i will try to have 15 non codeshare metal. Counting on kl cgk-kul is risky if it goes mechanical. I probabaly will have another sk code kl opeeated as a back up. For kq can/bkk, since i am based in hk. Mechanical shouldnt be a big concern to me.
