You got good answers for first and second questions but for your third question the only “risk” is that if you need to make any changes or manage any schedule changes, because you booked through a third party you’ll most likely be directed by DL to contact Chase Travel to manage those changes which can be a bit of a pain but not the end of the world (this only applies for advance changes - if you experience issues day of your work directly with DL).
However, I believe that if there is a schedule change, then Delta has “ownership/control” of the tickets that OP can deal directly with Delta rather than Chase travel. Trip is 5+ months out, as there is a possibility of a schedule change.
