LHR-JFK in F (lunch)

Nice flight with solid service this afternoon. FAs were friendly / attentive throughout the flight. A first for me was having the mattress pad set up on all seats before boarding, which masks the wear and tear . Bedding was a mix of new and old.



Slightly modified from this summer, but miles behind BA. While it is all not great, the white wine selection in particular is sub optimal. (Apologies for the semi-blurred menus!)


Pre meal snacks. Severed just after wheels up.


Lobster starter with salad. The lobster was outnumbered by the grapefruit.


Tomato soup. Beer cheese is better!


Pre-ordered the salmon. Not bad and I’d order again.


Temperature was right on the money.


Mid-flight cheese board.


Pre-arrival meal. This was better than some of their other offerings, but they should copy BA and go with the Katsu burger.
