Was this ticketed via an agency / OTA? I think it should have been ticketed as 2 x 32 kgs, given that BA is the more significant carrier here. Or 2 x 23 kgs, with status waiving the higher weight fee. But the ticket is the first thing agents see, it's usually correct, so ideally in this scenario you ring up a few days beforehand to get it corrected. And you may still want to do this, since at KTM they will be heavily guided by what it says on the ticket.
this was booked direct with BA via their website. Checkin agent at LHR checked ticket rules and it stated 30kg too. She managed to work some magic to get around it as system wasn’t allowing much leeway.
