Is it worth pushing back against this as the code suggested the cancellation was due to flight crew? What are the chances the code in the cancellations thread was incorrect, or are BA just hoping I believe them?
This was a day when those flights which were cancelled were due to weather, but there was a handful of exceptions, and your cancellation was done the night before, and not via HADACAB. What BA seems to do is on "bad weather days", all EC261 claims get bounced, regardless of cause, but the fact was that on the day in question BA didn't have enough crew to run the full service, your flight being a casualty. I guess you must be fairly close to 8 weeks from your initial complaint now, so go to CEDR on 8 weeks and 1 day.
