Who is the marketing carrier (i.e. what are your flight numbers?) I think that QR is most likely your MSC. In which case their rules apply.

Either way, I think the 30kg is wrong and doesn't take your status into account. Economy Lite fares on QR give you 20kg baggage allowance and OWE would give you an additional 15kg, making 35kg.
