For your honeymoon, I think you might be best served finding a place you want to go first, rather than basing your choice around a property. With SLH properties included, there are high end options in most places you'd want to go.

A lot of the destinations being floated in this thread are not at their best in November, and would let me down personally for a once in a lifetime trip. You don't say what kind of activities you're interested in, but that would be helpful. A week around, say, the Hilton Evian-Les-Bains in November, is completely different from a week in Cyprus, which is completely different from a week in Rome or Paris.

As to specific properties mentioned, having stayed at the Caledonian, I did not find it that luxurious and would not book my honeymoon around it.
