We have a family trip coming up in January, DUD CHC AKL PVG LHR IAH AKL CHC DUD. This was booked through grabaseat as an AirNZ codeshare with BA, although it sounds like that route may not be going much longer.
On NZ 289 I'm in Z for AKL PVG, and on BA168 I am in I. Which is nice. I'm *A GE but have no status for BA.
However, Mrs B (Elite Partner status) and the little Bs (both Jade status; little Bs sounds a little pejorative and who am I kidding, they are both 6 footers these days) are in Y....

For BA168 [PVG-LHR], if BA operated & BA marketed, in I class can add your QF freqent flyer number to the reservation. If not now at checkin.
Are Mrs BenbroNZ, BenbroNZ junior 1 and BenbroNZ junior 2 also on BA168 I class? All members of QF ffp? Not hard to join QF ffp for no cost. One off the better features of the QF ffp is the ability to transfer QF points to eligible family member an no cost. With some other ffp's not possible or with a $ cost.
LHR-IAH on what airline (marketed & operated)?
If BA operated NZ marketed (flight number) earning to a ffp limited or may be nil. Needs more research.
