So I went to the Delta website and messaged them and after I got thru the "virtual assistant" and got a live agent, she linked my trips back to my SkyMiles number. I had created the problem by asking for Flying Blue miles and then wanting to go back to Sky Miles for Delta status. Thanks for your suggestion
