VN are wet leasing the aircraft as they have so many of their newer aircraft down for maintenance with ongoing engine issues.
You would be best to email VN customer service with your questions to see if you still get your status benefits.
Also I believe unless your status is directly with Lotusmiles, lounge access and possibly other perks on domestic flights are not valid if using Skyteam status.
