OLCI has never stopped me from getting the odd up from J-F. I jst found that the machine told me to complete check-in at a desk or I haven't been able to change my seat.
I think out of the 10 or so trips that I didn't pay for F I got an op-up on every one last year including a couple of WT-J missing WT+.
