I just logged into my hotels.com account and it looks like about $1,000 worth of rewards have expired. The account got transitioned to OneKey, which I thought meant the points expire after 18 months of inactivity. That's what all the information I found stated. But according to customer service, the expiration date of previously earned points was retained, and so those expired after 12 months of inactivity. They wouldn't budge on reinstating the points. Never received an email that the points were about to expire. Has anyone had a similar experience and any luck with their support?
