Just got rebooked ex KUL on QR (Q suites, then A380 .. sounds good to me)

Return is BA 380 via SIN, so I may hop out there and ditch last leg as need to be back there anyway

I asked initially for ex SIN and operator straight away said not possible

I asked for any other return leg options, and gave a very long winded reply about her efforts to find these flights (but then said how easy it had been for my case) and that others might not be so lucky, so I should just take these. Which I don't disagree with, but it was a rather strange customer service experience.

Good luck all with your rebooking - no point in delaying trying to get on a call with them, but may take a while, 45 min queue for me.
