LAM Mozambique - Last Minute Switches?
For a trip next summer, I'm weighing how I want to get from Eswatini to Inhambane in Mozambique. I can either pay through the nose for a private transfer to MPM and then take a flight MPM-VNX-INH, or I can fly SHO-JNB-INH, with the latter leg being on LAM. I read some reviews saying that they often charge a premium for a non-stop flight and then a week out, they change it re: timing and number of connections. I think the SHO-JNB-INH trip would be easier travel, but if all of a sudden it becomes SHO-JNB-MPM-VNX-INH and I get in 8 hours later than I would should have, I'd go for the other option.
Has anyone here had any experience with these kind of changes on LAM? If I were on a month long vacation, it wouldn't matter that much, but my time is tighter than I'd otherwise like and would prefer to transfer as quickly and easily as possible. Thanks in advance.
