Qatar Airways Rebooking Issue - help

Hi Everyone,

This is my first time posting, if its not relevant or the wrong area to post this please do let me know. Any information of what i can do or what Qatar Airways should do would be very helpful to me.

In July 2024 i booked the following flights on Qatar Airways main website. LHR-DOH-ICN (First sector is operated by BA followed by QR on the second sector). Return would be NRT-DOH-LHR (First sector operated by QR and second sector operated by BA), all in Business Class. Its all under one ticket/booking code, i guess a multi-city/sector ticket. Today, just a few weeks before this trip is to start BA inform me that my DOH-LHR sector is cancelled. Its the only flight they have that day, as my ticket was purchased on the Qatar website and with the ticket being issued by Qatar i contacted them. They told me they don't have any availability until a few days later on the return. I was confused at first as i could see many flights between DOH-LHR on that date i was to travel on, apparently QR can only rebook the whole NRT-DOH-LHR and not individual sectors, such as i would expect DOH-LHR. The closest date they have availability is 3 days after my initial return to London. I asked if they would be able to offer me a direct flight on another airline, they refused. They said there is little they can do. Im shocked that this is how they treat someone who has booked a premium cabin, offering nothing but a flight 3 days later than what was booked. I am not able to depart this late, hotels are expensive in Tokyo to add. What are my rights when it comes to this? How would you go about this? Any information or help would mean a lot.
