Yes, they use Covenant Aviation Security for tsa at sfo. I feel like it was necessary to implement the 2000mi rule to reduce crowding, but it’s not very clear for your average traveler if their route is 2000mi and therefore qualifies. It’s a little simpler with AA because flagship business routes are a little clearer and afford flagship lounge access.
