We’re trying to book flights from the U.S to Japan on JAL or ANA. Every time we are finished filling out the details and purchase, it says card error. Is this a Visa card issue with Japan? I’ve read about how Japan had issues with Visa, so what gives?

Do we need to get a Mastercard or Amex?
