BTW - thought everyone would enjoy a bit of history. The original caboose for the Pere Marquette is located at HOM.

Just to clarify, that's a caboose from the Pere Marquette railroad, not the passenger train named for it (passenger trains didn't have cabooses). The Pere Marquette probably had quite a number of cabooses, this one survived and was preserved.

The Pere Marquette was merged into the Chesapeake and Ohio in 1947. The Chessie continued to run the named Pere Marquette passenger train until AmDay (5/1/1971). Amtrak started its Michigan-supported version of the train in 1984.
