To be fair to BER I think the difficulties have finally settled especially departures as the Runway and fastrack security services are fairly reliable.
Whilst I now avoid certain morning flights from LHR that arrive at the same time as QR/TK/TR/EZ/PC flights , I’ve switched to FR as they use a seperate border control and are fairly quick.
Ah that's something. I love Berlin but haven't been since they've built it so will have to try eventually.
My friend is an engineer and I think what grates him most is the setup/build, more than the service. He doesn't like there's no 'concept' behind the construction, so he says. That one of the terminals feels like it's been bolted on, even though it was all built brand new. That type of thing. He's a
massive T5 fan for the same reason; because there's a consistency and good form/function between the 3 'terminals'.
